TAGB (Tae-kwon-do assosciation of Great Britain) is the largest martial arts organisation in the world, with over 25,000 members and 600 schools throughout the country. Tae kwon do training is about learning to discipline your mind as well as your body and TAGB instructors always include elements in their teaching which help their students to develope mentally as well as physically.
We are a small and friendly club with about 50 members of all levels currently training. The club is run by chief instructor Mr Oliver Kells 5th dan black belt. All tagb instructors are highly qualified, accredited individuals with many years experience in teaching mixed classes which often include young children and disability groups. TAGB Instructors are also CRB checked and 1st aid certified.
The club has been running since 1989 and Mr Kells has Coached many students to black belt level and beyond to higher dan grades, also the club can boast of having British, European and world champions.
Don't worry new students will begin in a beginners class so no worries there. Tagb taekwondo is well suited for families to attend together, children 5yrs onwards, adults any age, whatever your capability, fitness and flexibility level, can be improved on at your own pace. We believe taewondo training should be fun. So why not give it a go 1st month training is free, just turn up in some loose clothing, it may be the best thing you have ever done. Beginners always welcome.
